The document reads...Ventura Escobar, Caballero comendador de la Real Orden Americana de Isabel la Catolica, condecorado con la Cruz de San Hermenegildo, Teniente Coronel de Infanteria y Capitan de la Compañia de Casabe del Regimiento Infanteria de la Union 2 Ligera del que es Sr. Comandante el Coronel Don Angel de Loño, Caballero de la misma y Militar Orden de S. Hermenegildo de la Americana Isabel la Catolica, Condecorado con el busto de Su Majestad por la accion de GUERRA!
